Our Early Years department is a hive of activity at all times. We encourage children to be active learners, who take a lead role in their own learning. Nursery and Reception are warm, welcoming environments where children are taught and cared for at all times.
Communication and Language are fundamental parts of our day. Throughout the sessions, children are provided with opportunities to talk to their peers and adults about their interests, their observations an their thoughts.
All children are treated as individuals and we embrace their differences. Staff work hard to ensure that teaching and learning is personalised to match the individual needs of a child. Equally, we value children's families and welcome parents/carers into our environment, so that they have an active part in their child's learning. In the current climate, we will do this as much as possible.
